Tom Askaroff, Biography

A prolific songwriter and gifted musician from an early age Tom had written for performed and managed several bands. Gaining a National Diploma in music production Tom has gone from strength to strength in the music industry writing, performing, mixing and producing.

He has written and performed for bands such as, Box 47, Pebbledash, Kismet Girls, Death Wish Fish, Pieces of the Puzzle, Gorilla, Transmission.

His music has put various groups in the charts out of 300 bands in Sussex. Tom's backing tracks have appeared on albums including the best selling Bravado Masala: Mahesh Vinayakram, Indian virtuoso singer and improviser extraordinaire, and worldbeat drum artist and producer James Asher.

Experienced on all the latest equipment in the business from Cubase to Logic, Sonar Digital Audio Workstations and Sequences, Intergrated Hardware and Software Solutions. Tom's unique talents have led to many unique and inspirational tracks, as Paul Mc Cartney said, "Superb, fantastic guitarist." Tom has gained invaluable experience from contacts in the music industry like Paul Crockford, manager for Mark Knopfler - Dire Straits and as Mike Hutchinson once said about Tom, "Better than Jimmy Hendrix, brilliant."
